Role Description: Sparring Partner for High-Performance Junior Tennis Players

The Performance Factory – International Tennis Hub in Bucharest is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled sparring partner to support the development of high-level junior tennis players competing at national and international level.
The role is designed for a strong player with excellent technical ability, consistency, physical condition, and a professional attitude, who can provide demanding, structured, and competitive hitting sessions for performance juniors.

Main Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hitting sessions for advanced junior players.
Maintain a consistent, controlled, and professional ball rhythm during training.
Adapt playing intensity, spin, speed, and tactical patterns according to the player’s training objectives.
Support coaches during technical, tactical, and match-situation drills.
Play practice sets, points, and competitive scenarios with junior athletes.
Help players prepare for national and international tournaments.
Offer different playing styles when required, including aggressive baseline play, defensive patterns, slice, serve-and-volley, and transition play.
Maintain a high level of focus, discipline, and professionalism throughout sessions.
Follow the instructions and training plans provided by the coaching team.
Act as a positive role model for young athletes through attitude, punctuality, work ethic, and respect.
Contribute to a competitive but supportive training environment.

Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have:
A strong competitive tennis background.
Experience playing at national, international junior, college, ITF, ATP/WTA, or professional circuit level.
Excellent technical fundamentals and ball control.
Ability to sustain long and intense rallies with high-level junior players.
Strong physical condition and endurance.
Good tactical understanding of modern tennis.
Ability to adapt to different players, ages, and training needs.
Professional behavior on and off court.
Good communication skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and commitment.
Previous experience as a sparring partner, hitting partner, assistant coach, or competitive player is an advantage.
English communication skills are preferred; Romanian or other languages are a plus.
